Hi, my name is Ellie Kirman and I left KCS in 2020 after studying there for two years, completing my A-Levels in English Literature, Biology, and Chemistry.
I’m now studying Medicine at my first-choice university, King’s College London. I’ve completed three years of med, with an intercalated year in Psychology (also at KCL), where I had the opportunity to get involved in research at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience, linked to the Maudsley Hospital. I’m currently in my penultimate year of Medicine and have been on placement at hospitals all around South London.
Alongside my degree, I’ve been a part of GKT (Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’) Netball Club, where I had the opportunity to be Social Secretary and Vice-President. I’m now part of GKT Hockey, part of a mentor volunteering scheme based in Lambeth and Southwark and a keen runner in my spare time.
