We seek to offer our pupils the best possible experience while they are with us and to provide them with a fantastic foundation for their future.
We want to help them develop their sense of identity and interests, discover what matters to them, and be ready to pursue their own path in the world beyond school, leading fulfilled lives and making a positive contribution in their own way.
With your support we can provide even more bursaries, together we can open our doors to even more young people, transforming their lives in the world beyond school.

Our bursaries offer more than financial support; they are a bridge to opportunities that transform the lives of young people and shape their futures beyond school. The King’s community is a special place to learn and grow, and we firmly believe that for sustained success both within the school and broader community, fostering diversity is paramount. Our unwavering commitment to expanding access through the growth of our bursary fund ensures that every pupil benefits as we strive to create an inclusive and empowering environment for all.
We were delighted to see bursary pupils at King’s fulfil their ambitions over the last two years and go on to university. The diversity of the courses studied is testimony to the individuality and breadth of learning King’s fosters.
We wish them all the best as they settle into the rhythm of life at university.
“The King's community shaped me as a person”
Pramoth was awarded a 100% bursary at King’s. He is now studying for a Master’s in Mathematics at the University of St Andrews and is aiming for a career in Finance, Computational Mathematics or Technology.
"It’s almost impossible to imagine my life without King’s. It has been a core part of my life – and still is. Being part of the King's community shaped me as a person. I met so many positive role models along the way and the bulk of my friends today are people I went to King’s with. Some of the teachers from King’s are still the people that I look up to the most. For a long time after leaving, I wanted to be a teacher because I spent years thinking “what wonderful people. Look at what they've done for me. I'd like to do this for someone else”.
"Without a bursary I would never have been able to go to Kings. Now my mum contributes £20 a month to bursaries herself. My parents want to do whatever they can because the bursary meant so much to them, as it did to me. One of my goals once I graduate and get a job is to do the same. Opening access to good schools to as many people as possible is such a good thing. If you're in a position to help, it's a nice way of paying back. Helping other people, contributing to the education of children who wouldn’t be able to go to the school otherwise and breaking those generational wealth barriers is a fantastic thing to do."
The impact that your gift will have is huge.
Thank you again for considering supporting our school and extending the transformational power of education to those who would not otherwise have had the opportunity to join us.
