On Saturday 1st February 2025 King's are hosting the annual Kevin Hawney Cup race, which is run between Old King’s Club runners, King’s staff and King’s pupils. Thank you to those of you who have emailed me already to say you'd like to race.
The event is a great opportunity to catch up with running enthusiasts past and present from the King’s community. Since 2007 the event has been named in honour of Kevin Hawney, legendary teacher in charge of cross country, and a cup has been awarded to the individual winner.
The start is 10.30 am at the corner of West Place and North View.
The race is run over the old junior cross-country course and is about 2.75 miles (4.4km) long. Runners of all standards as well as guest runners and spectators are all welcome.
There will be refreshments in the dining hall afterwards from 11:15am - 12:00pm.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about this event.
