Are you interested in the history of the school? We are delighted to invite all members of the King's community to an Open Archive drop-in session at which you can meet the school archivist and find out more about the archive. The current archive exhibition about the history of Drama at the school will also be available to view.
Ever since the 19th century, when plays were performed as part of Prize Giving, Drama has been an important part of school life. Since the Collyer Hall Theatre opened in 1988, productions have become ever more numerous, varied and ambitious. The exhibition charts this rise through documents, images and film footage from the school archive.
Please feel free to pop in any time between 11am and 3pm. The Bryan Stokes Archive is in the Old Music School (please enter the Porters' Lodge / Glencairn Gate and follow the signs).
Please note that the Open Archive evening which was due to take place on 16 May has unfortunately had to be cancelled.
