Obituaries

Robert Brielrly was appointed as a consultant urological surgeon at Ipswich Hospital in 2005, having graduated from St Bartholomew’s (Bart’s) Hospital Medical College in London. He undertook research on bladder dysfunction in Brighton, leading to an MSc award from University College London. His specialist urology training was in London and the South-East scheme, including Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital, Brighton University Hospital, and Fellowship training in Australia. He was Ipswich urology cancer lead from 2007 and director for medical education at Ipswich Hospital.

Robert passed away on 28 January 2023. He is survived by his wife, Emma, and their three children, Joseph, Tom and Grace.
