Frederick Raymond Sutton (known as Raymond) was born on 10th March 1921. He lived to be 100 years old and still had a sharp mind and a ready wit.
He was at King’s from 1929 to 1937 (JS and SS), where he was awarded a Surrey Major Scholarship.
He studied at Kings College London after leaving Kings College School and qualified as a doctor. He became a vascular consultant surgeon at Rush Green Hospital for most of his working life. He always spoke fondly of his time at King’s and asked his daughter-in-law, Sue Sutton, to inform the school when he died.
