King's was delighted to welcome 12 pupils from three partner schools in China for an enriching two-week stay at King's. Each visiting puppil was paired with a King's lower sixth pupil, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in all aspects of school life, including academic lessons and co-curricular activities.

Partner pupils delivered an engaging presentation on how families in China mark Lunar New Year, from festive decorations to time-honoured customs. The festivities contuined during breaktime, when teachers and visiting Chinese students prepared 120 portions of fresh dumplings, which raised £350 for charity.

Pupils from both countries enjoyed celebrating together. The event broadened their global perspectives, deepened their appreciation for world cultures, inclusivity and respect.
