Head of Kingsley House, Mr Tom Rogers has joined with two fellow Kingsley colleagues, Mr Pinder and Mr O'Sullivan to take part in the 'Big Sleepout 4', a charity initiative raising awareness of homelessness and supporting local charity, Dons Local Action Group (DLAG).
Mr Rogers announced the event with the following statement: "I’m delighted to announce that Kingsley House has chosen Dons Local Action Group (DLAG) as our charity to support this year. DLAG is a local charity that has provided food for over 6 million meals, 3,700 laptops, and thousands of pieces of furniture to families in need across Southwest London, since launch in March 2020. The charity was founder by ex-King's student Xavier Wiggins who says “We’re delighted to be partnering with Kingsley House. Together, we can make a real impact on the community and help those at their lowest ebb. We can’t wait to work with you all!”
"The first fundraising initiative is to link with DLAG 'Big Sleepout 4' which will be taking place at Plough Lane Stadium on Saturday 9th November. Mr Pinder, Mr O'Sullivan and I will be joining many others in sleeping out in the elements overnight to raise money and awareness to fight local poverty and homelessness."
