Sixth form students participate in a two-year personal development programme as part of their PSHE learning. This programme includes external lectures, seminars, assemblies, and form time discussions on topics like wellbeing, mental health, politics, and personal safety.
Recently, solicitor-advocate Russell Robinson spoke to upper sixth pupils about criminal law, discussing how to avoid trouble and the consequences of law-breaking. Robinson used real cases to illustrate the importance of legal awareness and the potential consequences of seemingly minor offences. His engaging storytelling and relevant examples emphasised the need for students to be mindful of their actions and stay on the right side of the law.
