EXCELLENCE FOR ALL
Excellence for all means that every pupil at King’s can access and benefit from an outstanding education, regardless of background. At King’s they will build confidence, aspiration and belonging so when the time is right they will strike out in the world beyond school and lead purposeful lives in their own way. We will provide the academic support where needed, where curiosity can deepen and, empathy grows.
SOCIAL MOBILITY
Bursaries remove the single biggest barrier, financial access. Social mobility is not decided at 18, it is shaped much earlier, disadvantaged pupils are significantly less likely to progress to top universities, a bursary intervenes at a critical moment. We identify high-potential pupils who will thrive and give them a platform to succeed, enabling them to contribute fully to society.
ECONOMIC GROWTH
Every £1 invested in a King’s bursary delivers long-term economic and social value, it unlocks an economic lifetime value not just for one pupil and their family but for the wider community. When you fund a bursary you are not covering fees, you are unlocking a lifetime of contribution; economic, social and human.
King’s uses 100% of your donation to fund bursaries that enable bright young people from around Surrey and London to attend King’s, over the last ten years pupils have joined us from:

Every £ donated will go towards bursaries whether this is expended this year or endowed for the future, every single donation received for bursaries will go towards helping families with financial assistance.
The success of Our Third Century has been made possible through the generosity and vision of our leadership donors. These giving circles provide a meaningful way to honour and acknowledge those whose philanthropy is helping to create a King’s for our third century. Membership of The Founders, the King’s Circle of Benefactors, and the King’s 200 recognises individuals whose support is transforming opportunities for future generations of pupils.
The King's 200 is a pioneering community of supporters helping to fund life-changing bursaries for talented young people who could not otherwise access a King's education.
As we approach our bicentenary, we are seeking donors who will help shape the next century of King's. A gift of £5,000 a year for five years can help fund a full bursary for a pupil for one year.
Together, the King's 200 will be recognised for making a significant contribution to the Bursaries Foundation endowment, helping secure this commitment for generations to come.

The King’s Circle of Benefactors recognises a founding community of visionary philanthropists whose generosity is helping to shape a King’s for our third century. Their support has been instrumental in establishing the King’s College School Bursaries Foundation , creating opportunities for talented young people and strengthening the school’s commitment to social mobility.
Through their philanthropy, Benefactors are helping to grow bursary provision in perpetuity and build a lasting foundation for King’s wider ambitions to change lives through education.
