Dr Judith Tucker was an enormously talented artist and popular senior school art teacher at King’s from 1986-1997. Her passion for art and academia was profound, and upon departing King’s, she completed an MA in Fine Art followed by a PhD and took on a series of leadership roles at the University of Leeds. As an artist, her creativity explored areas related to social history, memory, and geography; her work has been exhibited and seen by many throughout the country. Her contributions to both art and academia will leave a lasting impact on those she taught and those she inspired through her creative artwork.
Dr Tucker was killed in a tragic car accident on 13 November 2023.
